Care Fees Investment Limited was founded by Andrew Dixson-Smith in 2000 and we soon became one of the UK’s leading care fees specialists.
We are delighted to announce that we have now become part of the Eldercare Group Limited, another care fees planning specialist who, like us, have been providing this advice for over a decade.
The Eldercare Group comprises Eldercare Solutions Ltd the Financial Conduct Authority regulated entity that gives care fees planning advice and Eldercare Property Partners Ltd which offers a range of unique services from managing the sale of a property and ‘assisted move’ service through to advancing funds to pay care fees or purchase a care fees payment plan prior to the property being sold.
The two firms have been associated with each other for several years, offering a similar service and ethos. We are passionate that elderly clients and their families should have the chance to seek trustworthy advice whilst receiving a personal service in respect of the options for funding the cost of care fees.
The demand for advice will increase in the years to come because, whilst people are living longer, sadly they are often living in poorer health. The joining of the two firms therefore provides us with the opportunity to sustain our high standard of service and advice to meet this demand.
Both firms have been individually recognised for the quality of their advice. Just last year, Andrew Dixson-Smith won Best Long Term Care Intermediary at the prestigious Health Insurance Awards. Both Andrew and Nicky Cave of Eldercare have won this accolade in previous years, going back as far as 2003.
The financial advisers that you will deal with in the merged entity have a diploma in financial planning, have achieved the CF8 Long Term Care qualification and Later Life Accreditation as well as being members of the Society of Later Life Advisers (SOLLA). They are supported by an experienced team of care advisers who ensure that client service is delivered at a high standard.
